Clean Coffee: Independent Lab Results

We publish the testing we have on file so you can see the evidence and its limits for yourself.

Current Independent Analysis

FoodChain ID tested a roasted coffee sample submitted by Roastify, LLC and identified as lot #12983284. The sample date was June 27, 2025, testing ran from July 7 through July 14, 2025, and the report was issued July 14, 2025.

  • Heavy metals: Arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead were each reported below 0.010 ppm, the laboratory’s limit of quantification for these results.
  • Mycotoxins: The listed analytes, including aflatoxins, ochratoxin A, fumonisins, DON, T-2 toxin, HT-2 toxin, nivalenol, patulin, sterigmatocystin, and zearalenone, were reported “Not Detected” within the laboratory’s stated methods and detection limits.
  • Methods: FDA Method EAM Version 4.7 for the four heavy metals and FDA method Version 1.0 (2017) for the listed mycotoxins.

Important context: These results apply only to the roasted coffee sample tested. Coffee is an agricultural product, so results can vary by lot. The attached report does not list separate mold or yeast testing. “Not Detected” and “below the limit of quantification” do not mean that laboratory instruments can prove absolute zero.
